Well, I am a piscean as well. So he represents my zodiac sign. Besides to me, loving beauty, its an honor to have the most beautiful saint between them all.
I love the fact that he isnt only beautiful, but vain and a bit selfish. That makes it credible, since hey! if you were the most beautiful person ever... wouldnt you be that way? Pisceans are known for being the kindnest between al the signs, but to me thats not true. Yes we spend a lot of time daydreaing and we are very passive and rather calm, artistic, bohem, but it does not make us "good". We are pragmatic and avoid confrontations, since we do not function with chaos. All that, again, makes us practical, prragmatic, but certainly not good.
I love characters like Aphrodite. I think humans are made of impereftion and the perfection on Aphrodite comes from understanding what his failures are, and not even try to change them.

Your analysis is simply... wonderful! Finally someone has completely understood Aphro-kun's soul and most of all the personality of his character... that's really amazing, because it's not simple at all! So easy to love totally good guys in Saint Seiya (of course, they're positive and they're right), but probably they have no weackness, no imperfections... and this is very hard to find (impossible, I presume). Me likes Aphro-kun mostly for your same reason, plus I see him as a particular kind of Saint that wanted to follow an "alternative justice", as DeathMask did... and I think that it's so typical of the human kind, that often prefer to be concentrated in his personal success and aims instead of thinking of the real justice of the world! He's so fashinating! >__<
